EXIM International, Inc. (hereinafter, “the Company”), recognizing the proper handling of personal information and specific personal information (hereinafter collectively referred to as “personal information”) to be a social responsibility of companies, has established the following Privacy Policy.

  1. Compliance

    The Company shall comply with laws, ordinances, regulations, and norms concerning the proper handling of personal information.

  2. Acquisition and Purpose of Use of Personal Information

    The Company’s acquisition of personal information shall be done through proper means. The Company shall, except where otherwise prescribed by law, give notice or publicly announce the purpose of its use of personal information, and shall limit its use of personal information to the extent of said purpose. Furthermore, the Company’s use of personal information provided (consigned) to it by any parties that commission work to the Company shall be limited to the extent necessary for fulfilling its contractual obligations to those parties.

    The Company shall institute appropriate organizational, physical, personnel, and technological measures for protecting personal information, and shall endeavor to prevent unauthorized access to personal information and leakage, loss, or destruction of personal information by implementing necessary and proper measures, and by monitoring its employees, etc. and contractors.

  4. Provision of Personal Information to Third Parties

    The Company shall not, except where otherwise prescribed by law, provide personal information to third parties without the prior consent of the owner of that information.

  5. Disclosure, Amendment, Discontinuation of Use, and Deletion of Personal Information

    The Company affirms that the owners of personal information have the right to request the disclosure, amendment, discontinuation of use, deletion, etc. of their personal information, and shall respond in good faith to any such requests received.

  6. Improvement and Review of Handling of Personal Information

    The Company shall continuously review and improve its management system for protecting personal information.

  7. Disposal of Personal Information

    The Company shall delete or dispose of personal information that is determined to be no longer necessary in light of the purpose of its use. Such deletion or disposal shall be done to the extent necessary for conducting business, using appropriate means necessary for preventing hazards such as leakage to external parties.
